Job summary

Atlas is seeking qualified candidates for long-term geotechnical and construction materials testing roles across West Texas projects. You will perform field testing, including soil density and concrete testing, traveling to multiple sites with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

We offer extensive training, competitive per diem, and a collaborative team environment as we work on complex infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience.
• Experience performing soil density testing using a nuclear density gauge.
• Completion of Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Training and HAZMAT certification.
• Ability to lift and transport testing equipment and samples.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction-related field testing and inspections as directed by CMT Manager and Senior Engineer.
• Travel to West Texas construction sites, with potential overnight/weekend work.
• Conduct field soil density testing and HMA density testing.
• Perform field concrete testing and sampling.
• Enter daily field observation and summary reports electronically.
