Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our West Texas team. You will perform field testing and inspections, travel to project sites, and support quality control on complex infrastructure projects.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of CMT experience, nuclear density gauge testing, and relevant certifications. Flexible hours, travel, and per diem are common on qualifying projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience.
• Experience performing soil density testing with a nuclear density gauge.
• Completion of Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Training and HAZMAT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and inspections as directed by the CMT Manager and Senior Engineer.
• Travel to West Texas project sites, with potential for overnight/weekend work.
• Perform soil density testing using a nuclear density gauge and adhere to safety procedures.
