Job summary

Atlas is seeking qualified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) technicians for long-term projects across the United States. You will perform field testing and inspections, travel to multiple sites, and work with a team on complex infrastructure projects, including soil density testing and concrete testing.

Candidates should have 2+ years CMT experience, qualify for ACI Grade I, and hold HAZMAT and Nuclear Density Gauge safety certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience.
• Experience performing soil density testing using a nuclear density gauge.
• Completion of Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Training and HAZMAT certification.
• Experience performing concrete testing.
• Ability to lift and transport testing equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to submit daily summary reports electronically.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction-related field testing and inspections as directed by CMT Manager and Senior Engineer.
• Travel to various construction sites, potentially overnight and weekends.
• Perform field soil and HMA density testing using a nuclear density gauge.
• Perform field quality control testing of in-place concrete.
• Enter daily field observation and summary reports electronically.
