Job summary

Atlas is seeking a CMT Technician to support field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials on active projects. You will travel regionally, document results, and communicate findings to clients, while upholding Atlas’ safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years in construction testing, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain required certifications within six months. SiteManager familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction/testing industries.
• Ability to read construction plans, specs, and testing procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Familiarity with electronic field reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
• Collect samples, record site observations, and verify compliance with specs.
• Document testing activities and submit daily electronic reports.
• Travel to active construction sites across the region.
• Communicate testing results and observations to contractors and project teams.
• Maintain safety and professional representation of Atlas in the field.
