Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. Care includes vital signs, personal hygiene, meals support, and documentation of resident status.

Administration of prescribed meds per state rules, plus assistance with activities and wellbeing programs, are required. Travel to multiple nearby locations is expected within a 75-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• CMA or CNA state certification required/maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer medications as delegated by licensed nurse.
• Document care, monitor vitals and report changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping and activities as needed.
