Good Samaritan in Windom, MN seeks a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living support under a charge nurse. You will administer medications, assist with meals, and help residents stay safe and comfortable, documenting care and vital signs.

The role requires 3 months in long-term care, or 6 months preferred, and willingness to travel within a 75-mile radius. A CMA/CNA certification and state requirements apply, with ongoing training offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated and document outcomes.
• Record vital signs and communicate care changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and psychosocial support as needed.
