Job summary

Good Samaritan in Windom, MN seeks a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. The MA administers medications as delegated, documents outcomes, and supports dining and activities as part of a comprehensive care plan.

Travel to multiple locations within 75 miles of the address is required; enhanced pay applies for weekend and evening/night shifts. Minimum 18 years of age with CNA CMA certifications and LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification with state requirements; CMA pathway may apply.
• Experience in long-term care and ongoing education credits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated and document outcomes.
• Collect vital signs, assist with transfers, and support dining and activities.
• Communicate changes to the charge nurse and participate in wellness programs.
