Job summary

Imperial Beach Community Clinic (IBCC) is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead daily operations at an assigned IBCC site, ensuring safe, timely, patient-centered care. You will oversee clinic workflows and non-clinical staff, coordinate with nursing and medical leaders, and address barriers to access and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or related field, or equivalent healthcare operations experience.
• Three years of progressively responsible healthcare operations leadership, including staff supervision and workflow management.
• Experience using an electronic health record and privacy/compliance knowledge in ambulatory care workflows.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day site operations, including opening/closing readiness and patient flow.
• Coordinate with providers, nursing leadership, call center, and patient service staff to maintain appointment access and reduce delays.
• Maintain registration, telehealth, lab coordination, specialty services, and follow-up workflows across clinic operations.
• Supervise staff, including hiring input, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Monitor access, staffing, patient experience, throughput, and other metrics; implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Housekeeping, Purchasing and other departments; report risks and solutions to Director of Operations.
