Job summary

Colusa Indian Health Clinic seeks a Clinic Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions. You will work with the Director of Clinic Operations, providers, and leadership to ensure efficient operations, high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.

The role leads administrative functions across multiple clinic sites affiliated with Colusa Indian Community Council, reporting to the Director of Clinic Operations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience managing clinical staff in outpatient or tribal health settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to improve processes and staff performance.
• CPR/First Aid certification current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Directs internal practice operations, benchmarks, reports progress, and implements improvements.
• Monitors compliance with guidelines, policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Oversees front-end billing processes and collaborates with coders for claims processing.
• Hires, trains, onboards, and evaluates non-clinical staff (receptionists, records clerks, billing).
• Develops and implements plans to improve quality and patient safety with clinical leadership.
