Job summary

Belle Chasse-based B is seeking a concrete project superintendent to plan, coordinate, and supervise all concrete operations on-site. You will ensure quality, keep the schedule on track, and manage the budget while maintaining safety and company standards.

You will coordinate weekly with operations and project management for manpower and resource scheduling and ensure effective project communication and execution on site.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in concrete construction.
• Ability to supervise construction employees within budget and schedule.
• Maintain positive working relationships with management, owners, trades and subcontractors.
• Balance and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Above-average working knowledge of technology and related resources.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations managers for concrete schedules/operations.
• Daily communications with Project Management to ensure successful project execution.
• On-site supervision of all concrete construction processes.
• Ensure the budget is followed in manpower and material expenditures.
• Organize and schedule field labor and ensure performance requirements are met.
• Coordinate with other subcontractors for proper planning and harmony.
• Ensure quality is preserved and budget maintained in concrete work.
• Track and report project progress daily and weekly.
• Record time for field manpower accurately.
• Monitor productivity and progress, identify delays, and provide solutions.
