Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Floater Behavioral Aide to support students aged 5-22 with behavioral and learning needs across multiple school sites. This travel-based role requires adaptability, initiative, and a passion for helping students succeed.

You will assist with IEPs/BIPs, provide instructional support, and use ABA techniques to reinforce positive behaviors. Valid driver’s license and background clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance required.
• 1–3 years of experience with students with behavioral or special needs.
• CPR, Pro-ACT, CPI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide individualized instructional assistance as paraprofessional.
• Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way).
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and CPI interventions.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation and breaks.
• Facilitate recreational and educational activities.
• Model and reinforce ABA techniques.
• Record and maintain daily data on behavior, progress and incidents.
• Communicate with supervisors, teachers and support staff regarding student needs.
