Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Behavioral Aide Floater to support students aged 5–22 with behavioral and learning needs across multiple school sites in Amador County. The role requires a valid driver’s license, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.

You will reinforce positive behaviors using ABA-based techniques, help implement IEPs and BIPs, and track student progress across assignments and transitions.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• 1–3 years of experience with students with behavioral or special needs (preferred).
• CPR, Pro-ACT or CPI certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide individualized instructional assistance.
• Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way).
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT/CPI intervention strategies.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation, and breaks.
• Record daily data on behavior, progress, and incidents.
• Communicate progress with supervisors and teachers.
