Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Floater Behavioral Aide in Fair Oaks, CA. The role supports students aged 5-22 with behavioral and learning needs across multiple sites, traveling frequently.

You will reinforce positive behaviors and support individualized learning plans during approximate school hours. The position offers full-time hours, a $21.00–$23.00 hourly pay range, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options, plus paid time off and tuition

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance.
  • Strong communication skills and reliability.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Preferred experience in school or treatment settings.
  • Pro-ACT, CPI, and/or CPR certification.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
  • 1–3 years of experience with students who have behavioral or special needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of IEPs and BIPs.
  • Provide individualized instructional assistance (paraprofessional/ instructional aide).
  • Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way) within the region.
  • Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT or CPI strategies.
  • Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation, and breaks.
  • Facilitate and engage students in recreational and educational activities.
  • Model and reinforce positive behaviors using ABA techniques.
  • Record and maintain daily data on behavior, progress, and incidents.

What You’ll Do
  • Support implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide individualized instructional assistance tailored to student needs (paraprofessional/ instructional aide)
  • Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way) within the assigned region
  • Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and/or CPI intervention strategies
  • Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation, and breaks (student supervision/ school support)
  • Facilitate and engage students in recreational and educational activities
  • Model and reinforce positive behaviors using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Record and maintain accurate daily data on behavior, progress, and incidents (data tracking/ documentation)
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, teachers, and support staff regarding student needs and progress
What We’re Looking For
  • Must Have High School Diploma or GED

  • At least 18 years of age
