Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Floater Behavioral Aide in the Sacramento area to support students with behavioral and learning needs across multiple site locations. The role emphasizes adaptability, proactivity, and a commitment to helping students succeed, with travel between sites and a 6.5-hour school schedule.

Responsibilities include implementing IEPs and BIPs, providing targeted instructional support, and using ABA approaches while recording daily progress data and communicating with staff

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Preferred experience in school or treatment settings.
• Pro-ACT, CPI, and CPR certification.
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
• 1-3 years of experience working with students with behavioral or special needs.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide individualized instructional assistance (paraprofessional/ instructional aide).
• Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way).
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and CPI strategies.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation and breaks.
• Facilitate and engage students in recreational and educational activities.
• Model and reinforce positive behaviors using ABA techniques.
• Record daily data on behavior, progress and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, teachers, and support staff regarding student needs and progress.
