Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Aptitude Superintendent 2 for complex intelligent integration projects. You will lead low voltage scopes, manage trade partners, plan construction sequencing, and ensure timely, profitable completion aligned with JE Dunn’s vision and values. Based in Tempe, AZ with 100% travel as needed.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of low voltage systems, scheduling, budgeting, and a commitment to safety and quality across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management or engineering.
• 5+ years construction experience in Division 8/23/25/27/28 related systems.
• 3+ years of field supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free work environment; mentor staff.
• Coordinate low voltage technology installation with subcontractors, suppliers and teams.
• Develop work plans for low voltage subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Create and manage project schedule with Aptitude Project Manager; track costs and budget.
• Communicate key project information to owners, design teams, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure quality compliance through specifications, QA/QC and external resources.
• Support project closeouts by coordinating pre-punch activities with owner, architect and authorities.
• Participate in new project pursuits and project pre-plans, and help establish local workforce.
