Vesta Management is seeking an experienced floating Recertification Specialist to support communities in eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. You will travel among affordable housing sites to verify incomes, assets, and eligibility for LIHTC, Section 8, and HOME programs.

Strong attention to detail, familiarity with Yardi or similar software, and COS/TCS/NCP credentials are preferred. A reliable driver’s license and customer‑focused service approach are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in affordable housing compliance or property management.
• COS/TCS/C3P or NCP certifications preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Aufgaben

• Manage annual, interim, and initial certifications/recertifications for LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, HOME, and related programs.
• Verify resident income/assets and household composition using third‑party methods.
• Prepare, issue, and track recertification notices within required timelines.
• Audit resident files for accuracy before submission and adjust rent/allowances as needed.
• Maintain compliant resident records and update data in Yardi/PM software.
• Communicate with residents about documents, deadlines and outcomes.
• Coordinate with Property Managers to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
• Support audits and monitoring visits with organized documentation.
