Job summary

Vesta Management seeks a customer-focused Recertification Specialist to support communities across eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The role involves traveling between affordable housing properties to ensure compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, HOME, and related programs.

Qualified candidates will have 1–3 years in affordable housing compliance and strong attention to detail. COS/TCS/NCP certifications are preferred, with a background in property management software such as Yardi.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in affordable housing compliance or related admin roles.
• COS/TCS/NCP certifications preferred; background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual, interim, and initial certifications for LIHTC, Section 8/HUD, HOME, and other programs.
• Verify income, assets, and household composition using third-party methods.
• Prepare and distribute recertification notices within required timeframes.
