Job summary

Vesta Management seeks a traveling Recertification Specialist to support affordable housing communities across eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. You will manage annual and interim certifications, verify income and household data, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have LIHTC/Section 8 experience and COS/TCS/NCP certification preferred; strong attention to detail and customer service are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in affordable housing compliance or related admin role.
• Certification in occupancy such as COS/TCS/NCP preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Process annual, interim, and initial certifications per program guidelines.
• Verify income/assets and calculate household composition.
• Prepare recertification notices and maintain files per rules.
• Update data in Yardi or similar software and coordinate with managers.
• Support audits and regulatory monitoring as needed.
