Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties is seeking an Administrative Medical Assistant Float (Temp) to travel to various health centers in San Bernardino County, providing administrative medical assistant support.

The role requires 1–3 years healthcare or receptionist experience, a high school diploma, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings. A $5.00 per hour differential applies to float positions.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or other education plus experience is required.
• 1-3 years of healthcare or general receptionist experience.
• Available to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Willingness to travel to 6 health centers in Orange/San Bernardino County.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking skills preferred; may be tested if required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer phones, refer calls, schedule appointments.
• Prepare charts, check for completeness, errors, signature and assembly.
• Input and update patient data accurately.
• Maintain patient records; verify insurance and approvals as needed.
• Collect fees, donations, and related paperwork; monitor clinic flow.
