Job summary

Healing Partners, a leading wound care provider, is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to plan, direct, and evaluate health care across long-term care facilities. The role requires daily travel to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within the local area and responsibilities include examination and treatment of wound-related conditions and coordination with physicians.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state.
• Master’s degree of Nursing.
• Current Active, unrestricted state APRN license or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Proof of Covid vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care.
• Daily travel to various facilities and regions as scheduled.
• Examine and treat chronic and acute wound-related illnesses and injuries.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and recommend follow-up.
• Refer to and update physicians, write prescriptions, and perform bedside procedures.
