Job summary

Healing Partners is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to lead resident and staff wound care across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities, traveling as needed. The role offers a 100,000–120,000 USD annual salary with a Monday–Friday day schedule and a strong work-life balance.

The NP will assess, diagnose, prescribe, and collaborate with the medical director to improve wound healing outcomes, including debridement and topical care, in a fast-growing practice.

Qualifications

• Proof of Covid vaccination.
• Licensed RN in the state with APRN license or ability to obtain.
• Active, unrestricted APRN license and Nurse Practitioner program completion.
• Current Board of Nursing approval to perform medical acts.
• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care.
• Daily travel to various facilities. Regions can vary based on scheduling needs.
• Examine and treat chronic and acute wound-related illnesses and injuries.
• Interpretation of diagnostic tests and recommendation of follow-up.
• Refer to and update physicians, write prescriptions, and perform bedside procedures associated with wound care.
• Work with the medical director in the care and treatment of residents and staff.
• Debridement of wounds by sharp, enzymatic, autolytic, or surgical methods as needed on site.
• Application and management of topical wound care and associated products.
• Educate patients and Primary Care Physicians on current wound management practices.
