Job summary

Healing Partners seeks a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to plan, direct, and evaluate wound care for residents across long-term care facilities. You will travel between sites, assess wound-related illnesses, and coordinate with physicians for follow-up and treatment.

Applicants must be a licensed RN in the state with an active APRN license, have completed a nurse practitioner program, and hold approval to perform medical acts. Competitive benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Proof of Covid vaccination.
• Current licensed registered nurse in the state.
• Active, unrestricted state APRN license or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
• Current Board of Nursing approval to perform medical acts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care.
• Travel to multiple facilities as scheduling requires.
• Examine and treat chronic and acute wound-related illnesses and injuries.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and recommend follow-up.
• Write prescriptions and perform bedside wound-care procedures.
• Educate patients and primary care physicians on wound management practices.
