Job summary

Wastequip WRX is seeking a Welder/Service Mechanic for Lithia Springs, GA, with onsite and on-the-road assignments. The role requires welding and mechanical repair work on heavy equipment and trucks, including hydraulic/electrical systems, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Truck or Heavy equipment mechanic.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic components.
• Chassis prep experience.
• Welding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, and secure parts per specifications.
• Travel to client sites and perform service/warranty repairs.
• Onsite work at the Lithia Springs facility as needed.
• Inspect, repair, and test diesel truck chassis and related systems.
• Maintain vehicle records and safety compliance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and parts evaluation.
