Wastequip is seeking a Welder/Service Mechanic for our Lithia Springs, GA facility and on-site client work. The role involves welding, diagnosing hydraulic and electrical issues, and performing repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.

You will travel to customer sites and maintain service records, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years as a truck/heavy equipment mechanic, with welding and fabricating skills, strong customer service, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Truck or Heavy equipment mechanic.
• Able to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic components.
• Chassis prep experience is a plus.
• Welding experience required; able to weld and fabricate.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• On the road performing service at client sites and at our Lithia Springs facility.
• Diagnoses and repairs hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Maintains vehicle records, test drives for serviceability, and warranty work.
• Maintains shop tools, safety standards, and supports parts evaluation.

Wastequip WRX provides repair services and maintenance. The ideal candidate will Travel to customers' sites to perform service/warranty repair work.
