Job summary

Acuren seeks an API 510/570/653 certified inspector to support operations in Lakeland, FL. This role is a travel position, working at client sites to perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards.

Qualifications

• Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570
• 5–10 years’ experience or 2+ years on site experience
• Additional API 653 or CWI a plus
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards
• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API/ASME standards
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment
• Provide technical input to client on welding and metallurgical issues
• Provide technical guidance on application of NDE techniques and procedures
• Comply with all safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives
• Willingness to travel if needed
