Job summary

Acuren is seeking experienced API 510/570/653 certified professionals to support operations in Lakeland, FL. This is a travel position requiring field engineering and direct collaboration with client teams to assess equipment integrity.

Responsibilities include performing visual and non-destructive exams, producing precise condition reports, and recommending safe repair options. API/ASME knowledge and on-site petrochemical experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification of API Standards 510/570.
• 5-10 years' experience or 2+ years on site experience.
• API 653 or CWI is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair or alteration for safe operation.
• Contribute technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.
• Provide guidance on NDE techniques and procedures.
• Comply with safe work practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
