Job summary

Pavion, a global leader in fire, security and AV integration, seeks a Travel Technician to support installations, maintenance and upgrades across sites.

You will install low voltage cable, access control and video systems, program security software, train end users, and provide technical phone support. Travel required; Memphis, TN area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2–4 years in maintenance, repairs and installation of low voltage systems.
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
• Lenel certified preferred; organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and install low voltage cable, access control and video systems.
• Assist with programming and re-programming of security software.
• End-user training.
• Provide technical phone support to customers.
• Demonstrate electronics and mechanical aptitude.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Travel Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance, repairs and installation of low voltage cable, access control and video systems
• Assist with new programming and re‑programming of related security software
• End‑user training
• Provide technical phone support to customers
• Electronics and mechanical aptitude

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2‑4 years of experience in maintenance, repairs and installation of low voltage cable, access control and video systems
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
• Lenel certified
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to operate hand and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturer Certifications are a plus (i.e. Lenel, AMAG, SWH, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha, Axis)

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00–$40.00 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
