Job summary

Pavion is seeking a Technician to join our integration business unit and support projects worldwide. The role includes installing cabling, field devices, headend equipment, and basic programming for low voltage systems, while analyzing blueprints and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety guidelines.

You will update project documentation, manage materials and subcontractors, and communicate status daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in structured cabling, electronics, or a related field is a plus.
• Basic understanding of structured cabling principles, including copper and fiber optic cabling standards and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic security systems, such as access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and intrusion detection, is desirable.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in cabling and electronic security installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients both orally and in writing.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.

• Perform additional technician-related functions as assigned by management.
• Clean up work area daily.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and company equipment.

Pay Range: The hourly pay range for this position is $27-$37per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
