Newsandtribune in the Parkersburg area (WV) seeks a Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of OR experience for a fast-paced acute care unit.

The role includes three 12-hour shifts, rotating call, and experience with General, Robotics, OB/Gyn, Urology, Podiatry, and Neuro cases using EPIC charting. Local candidates within 50 miles are encouraged to apply; travel/licensure reimbursements are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required.
• BLS certification from the AHA required.
• License required if applicable.
• Valid driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Acute care operating room with 11 major rooms and 2 minor rooms for minor cases such as lumps and bumps.
• Handles General, Robotics, OB/Gyn, Urology, Podiatry, and Neuro surgical cases.
• Fast-paced environment averaging 30-45 patients per day.
• Staffed with 2 techs per room, occasionally supported by an additional RN.
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week with rotating weekday and weekend call.
• Uses EPIC charting system.
• Work within a collaborative surgical team supporting a high-volume OR schedule.
• Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call coverage.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius.
