Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room in Idaho Falls. The role involves a 13-week travel assignment with a 6:30 AM–7:00 PM schedule, three days per week, and rotating weekend call.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience, NBSTSA credential, and a state license if applicable. Housing allowances, per diem, and licensure reimbursements are provided to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
• State license required if applicable.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel assignment in a hospital Operating Room.
• Shift schedule of 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, three times per week.
• Rotating weekend call every four weeks to cover evening/night staffing needs Monday through Thursday.
• Typical call shifts of 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours with a goal of not exceeding 60 combined work and call hours per week.
• Surgical caseload spans multiple specialties including burn, dental, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, neuro, open heart, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, psychiatry, robotics, trauma, and urology.
• Perform surgical technologist duties across a broad range of procedures and specialties.
• Support high acuity cases including burn, trauma, neuro, and open heart surgeries.
• Work alongside a surgical team in a fast-paced, high-volume Operating Room.
• Local candidates are not accepted due to a 50-mile radius requirement.
