Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an acute care Operating Room position with call rotation coverage across multiple specialties.

The role includes working in an acute care OR environment, covering Orthopedics, DaVinci, Gynecology, GI, and General surgeries, on a Monday–Friday schedule with a required call rotation and MEDITECH charting system usage. The position requires travel eligibility and a 50‑mile radius residency requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
• MEDITECH experience preferred.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Acute care Operating Room setting.
• Covers Ortho, DaVinci, GYN, GI, and General surgical specialties.
• M-F 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM schedule with call rotation required.
• Uses MEDITECH charting system.
• 40 hours per week.
• Support surgical procedures across Ortho, DaVinci, GYN, GI, and General specialties.
• Participate in call rotation as required by the unit.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates will not be considered.
• Travelers who previously worked at this facility must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying.
• Travelers are limited to a cumulative total of one year working within the health system before requiring a 2-year break.
