Travel Surgical Technologist

Description

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 3 years overall OR experience and Level I or II trauma experience for a hospital OR position.

Details

45-room OR at a Level I Trauma Center
Day shift 3x12s, 0645-1915, with occasional float to 0845 or 1045 starts
Schedule varies weekly based on staffing needs, must work 3 night shifts per assignment
Weekend shifts required per unit needs
On-call required, up to 3 call shifts per 8-week schedule period
Float to like units within scope required to meet facility needs

Requirements

Minimum 3 years overall OR experience required
Level I or Level II trauma level experience required
At least 1 completed travel assignment required
BLS certification required
DORA license required if applicable
Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including gynecology, plastics, neurosurgery, trauma, general surgery, urology, and ENT procedures

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Candidates previously employed by the facility or its affiliates must disclose prior employment history
Travelers who completed a full year on assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before rebooking
Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per contract, with blackout periods where RTO requests will not be approved
Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment
Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted

Pay

Pay: $1,679/wk
Assignment Total (13 Weeks): $21,825
Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks): $87,300
Weekly Wages: $702/wk
Regular Hours: $19.50 x 36 hours/wk = $702
Weekly Stipends: $977/wk
Lodging: $71.55 x 7 days = $501
Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476

In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $1,549 - $1,679. The $1,679 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
