Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist with NBSTSA certification and travel experience for a day shift role with call responsibilities in Kansas. The candidate must have at least 3 years CVOR experience and BLS; NBSTSA is required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) unit.
• Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Weekday and weekend call rotation with the heart team.
• May float to other units if short staffed.
• Expect to work some holidays during the assignment.
• Complete lab visit within 24 hours of signing.
• Reside within a 45-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• License required if applicable
• Negative 13-panel drug screen required within 30 days of starting
• Two professional references required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Works in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) unit
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekday and weekend call rotation with the current heart team
• Meditech charting system preferred
• May be required to float to other units if short staffed
• Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
• Minimize RTO requests, especially during the first two weeks of the assignment
• No full calendar weeks off requested during the assignment
• Block scheduling limited to three or four shifts maximum
• Must complete lab visit within 24 hours of signing
• Candidates must reside within a 45-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates not accepted
