American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring NBSTSA certification and prior travel experience.

The role requires NBSTSA and BLS certifications, a valid license if applicable, and a minimum of 1.5 years of CVOR experience with EMR proficiency in EPIC/Cerner. Returning travelers may be considered after a 1-year gap. Local San Diego candidates are ineligible.

Qualifications

NBSTSA and BLS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year of total travel experience required.
Minimum 6 months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration, with no significant gaps.
Minimum 1.5 years of continuous CVOR experience without breaks in unit type.
EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR experience within the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

CVOR hospital unit assignment.
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Work week runs Sunday through Saturday.
On-call: 2 shifts per week, evenings and weekends.
First-time travelers will not be considered; returning travelers may be considered after 1-year break.
Maximum of 7 days RTO, no extra requests after consideration.
Candidates must not reside within 100 miles of the facility (LVNs/LPNs exempt).
San Diego assignment for 9+ months is considered local and ineligible.

On-call requirement of 2 shifts per week, covering 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM on weekdays and 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on weekends
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
