American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with vascular, orthopedic, and breast surgery experience for a hospital operating room position in Texas.

The ideal candidate is NBSTSA CST certified, BLS certified, and has at least two years in a US hospital OR performing vascular, orthopedic, and breast procedures, including laparoscopic hiatal hernia and endovascular cases. This role offers a Monday–Friday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM shift with on-call 2–3 days weekly and weekend rotation;

Qualifications

• NBSTSA CST credential is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital operating room in the United States.
• Experience in vascular, orthopedic, and breast surgical procedures.
• Experience with laparoscopic hiatal hernia, endovascular, and breast oncology procedures.
• License required if applicable.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular, orthopedic and breast oncology procedures in the hospital OR.
• Adhere to a Monday–Friday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule.
• Handle on-call duties 2–3 days per week, including every other weekend.
• Plan and prepare for procedures and assist the surgeon accordingly.
• Sterilize equipment and assemble case carts for scheduled and emergency cases.
• Reside at least 100 miles from the facility, as required.
• Provide two manager or supervisor references when possible.

• Over 2 years of experience in vascular, orthopedic, and breast surgical procedures required
• Experience with laparoscopic hiatal hernia procedures, endovascular procedures, and breast oncology procedures required
• License required if applicable
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Hospital operating room setting performing laparoscopic hiatal hernia, endovascular, and breast oncology procedures
• Monday through Friday schedule, 0630-1500 shift
• On-call responsibilities 2-3 days per week, including every other weekend
• Responsible for planning and preparing for surgical procedures and assisting the surgeon
• Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and assembling scheduled and emergency case carts
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying most recent experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
