Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN for the PCU in Sylvania, Ohio. The 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits and supportive clinical teams.

As a Stepdown RN, you will monitor telemetry, administer meds, and collaborate with the care team to move patients from ICU to standard units while maintaining high safety and quality standards. This role requires at least one year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license, and

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) and ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Proficiency in English and good communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry data, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac-related procedures.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
• Maintain infection control and hospital safety standards.
