Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU in Youngstown, Ohio for a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour nights. Start ASAP. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

As a Stepdown RN you will monitor telemetry, administer meds, assist with procedures, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes. Requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification with American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification with American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vitals, and telemetry to detect abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document patient status and notify team of changes in cardiac condition.
• Respond to life-threatening events per hospital protocols.
