Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Charles, MO. The role offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Requirements include at least one year as a Stepdown RN, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS.

PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. You will monitor telemetry, administer meds, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry, vital signs, and reacts to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with cardiac focus
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures
• Maintains comfort and safety of telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
• Educates patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
