Job summary
MEP Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing deficits to improve communication.
You will provide skilled speech therapy services per physician orders, develop and adjust treatment plans, and help patients regain or enhance communication and swallowing abilities in educational, vocational, and social contexts.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- ASHA CCC-SLP credential is required.
- State licensure or active licensure application is required.

Job description
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assesses and treats patients with speech, hearing, and language deficits to improve communication and swallowing skills.
Provide skilled speech therapy services based on physician orders, evaluate patient needs, develop and adjust treatment plans, and set achievable goals to help patients regain or develop effective communication and swallowing abilities.
Must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure or be in the application process, CCCs, at least one year of experience, and current CPR certification.
Conduct assessments, plan and modify care, teach sound production, voice improvement, and compensatory strategies for safe swallowing, enabling patients to fulfill their educational, vocational, and social roles.
