Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain in Rhode Island.
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting with residents and staff.
• Travel eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and develop treatment plans for residents.
• Provide bedside and small-group therapy and monitor progress.
• Document evaluation findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team (nurses, physicians, OT, PT, social work).
• Participate in care planning meetings and educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Document evaluation findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in resident records
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team (nurses, physicians, OT, PT, social work) to support resident care and goals
• Participate in care planning meetings and educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
• Ensure compliance with licensure requirements, facility policies, and privacy regulations

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain) in the assignment location
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting and engage effectively with residents and staff
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
• Eligible to work in the United States (travel assignment)
