Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) facility in Claremont, NH. The role covers acute care in a nursing home setting with a 13-week contract starting December 1, 2026.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,496 to $2,578 and guaranteed 35 hours per week. The SLP will assess residents, develop treatment plans, manage dysphagia, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support resident communication and swallowing needs while ensuring

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• 1+ year of clinical SLP experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to travel to the assignment location.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders; develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide dysphagia management and therapy, including swallowing assessments and compensatory strategies.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for older adults in LTC.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize communication, nutrition and resident care.
• Document evaluations, goals, plans and progress; contribute to discharge planning and family education.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
