Healthforce is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Laconia, New Hampshire, starting 11/02/2026. The position is in a Skilled Nursing Facility with an acute care focus, working days 08:00–16:30, 35 hours per week.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, perform bedside swallow evaluations, and collaborate with nursing staff and dietitians to support discharge planning and patient goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active NH state license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• 1+ year of experience in speech-language pathology preferred, with exposure to acute care or skilled nursing settings.
• Ability to work a 35-hour week in a day shift (08:00–16:30).
• Proficiency with documentation in an electronic medical record and clinical charting.
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and provide therapy in skilled nursing with acute care focus.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; document progress in the patient record.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations, manage dysphagia, and screen for aspiration risk; coordinate with nursing staff and dietitians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning and patient goals; communicate with families as appropriate.
• Monitor patient response to therapy, adjust goals and frequency, and prepare progress notes and reports.

Responsibilities
