Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Retail Travel Agent in Aurora, IN. The role focuses on selling domestic and international travel, leveraging personal experiences to inspire clients, and building lasting relationships through AAA’s trusted services.

You’ll process bookings, educate clients on benefits, and participate in training to advance to higher levels such as Senior Retail Travel Agent. The position emphasizes customer service and sales performance within a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent (CTA within 2 years preferred).
• Experience: at least 1 year in retail; 1+ year travel agent experience preferred.
• Skills: strong communication, customer service, organization, and geography knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Craft unforgettable domestic and international travel experiences (cruises, land tours, flights, hotels, etc).
• Use your travel experiences to inspire and guide clients.
• Build long-term relationships, turning first-time clients into loyal travelers.
• Leverage AAA’s travel strategy to maximize sales goals.
• Process bookings, payments, and travel documentation while ensuring ARC/DOT compliance.
• Educate clients on AAA benefits, perks, and the AAA-branded credit card.
• Resolve client concerns under management guidance.
• Attend promotions, trainings, and familiarization trips to stay ahead.
