Job summary

Bergelectric is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the Work Safe. Live Safe. program across one or more sites in the region. You will visit projects and offices daily to ensure the safety program is fully executed and reported upon.

The role requires 5–10 years of construction safety experience, CSP/OSH credentials preferred, and frequent travel. You will partner with operations, safety teams, and client safety personnel to drive a strong safety culture and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of safety experience in construction, electrical preferred.
• Certified safety credentials such as CSP or OSHA-related training.
• Strong communication and training delivery skills.
• Ability to manage incidents and document investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and technical assistance to operations teams.
• Advise on safety requirements for planning and startup meetings.
• Prepare and review site safety plans, risk assessments, permits, and logs.
• Perform audits and inspections on job sites and offices.
• Respond to safety incidents and generate timely reports.
• Ensure compliance with policies, OSHA regs, and safety documentation.
• Develop safety competencies among supervisors and site personnel.
• Meet with site leadership to address safety issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with client site safety personnel to resolve issues.
• Monitor safety activities and report progress within operations.
