Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 14-week travel assignment. The role is a first shift (7am-7pm) with a pay rate of $80.00 per hour. Requires NBRC RRT, Virginia state license, BLS, and either an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Experience: 1 year preferred; 2 years NICU/PICU strongly preferred. No benefits provided for this assignment, with possible future opportunities within Sentara.

Qualifications

• State license and NBRC RRT required at time of hire.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• For new graduates, must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician-directed respiratory care interventions.
• Collaborate with nursing and health care team for respiratory care practice.
• Assess and treat patients across age groups from neonates to adults.
