Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 14-week, full-time assignment. The role involves respiratory care from neonates to adults, in coordination with the care team, on a DAY shift (7am–7pm).

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy is required, with active Virginia state license, NBRC RRT, and BLS at hire. Prior NICU/PICU experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• State license and NBRC RRT certification required; active BLS at hire.
• Travel/temporary assignment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician-directed respiratory care to patients from neonates to adults in various settings.
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients per established protocols and care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing and health care teams to ensure safe and effective respiratory care.
