Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time, 14-week assignment. The role focuses on identifying and implementing physician-directed respiratory care interventions and collaborating with the care team across neonatal to adult patients.

Requirements include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC RRT certification, Virginia license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• State license, NBRC RRT and BLS required at time of hire.
• For new graduates, must have State license and BLS at time of hire, NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement physician-directed respiratory care interventions.
• Collaborate with nursing and health care team for all age groups.
• Assess and treat patients from neonates to adults.
• Ensure handling of PHI in accordance with policy.
