Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 14-week, full-time assignment on the night shift. The RRT will deliver age-appropriate respiratory care, collaborate with the care team, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Position requires NBRC RRT, VA license, and BLS; 1 year of experience preferred, with new grads meeting licensure timelines. $80/hr pay, no benefits, night shift 7pm–7am.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree – Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor’s Degree – Respiratory Therapy.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by NBRC.
• Virginia state license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• New graduates must have state license and BLS at hire and NBRC RRT within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician-directed respiratory care interventions for patients of all ages.
• Assess and treat patients with age-appropriate respiratory care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing and health care team to ensure quality care.
