Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients. Collaborates with physicians and other professionals to plan and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and adheres to nursing standards within the practice setting.

Responsibilities include care coordination, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions across all phases of care. Travel assignments are offered in diverse communities with Sanford benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing and multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Care for patients across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Coordinate patient assessment, education, triage and other nursing interventions.
