Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN collaborates with physicians and other professionals to plan, implement and evaluate care, and to ensure effective outcomes across the continuum of care.

Contract details include 14-week assignments with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site; weekly pay with stipends; and

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold RN license.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience with at least 6 months travel experience.
• Must live within 60 miles of the location applied for.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, patient assessment, education, triage and various nursing interventions.
